Buttercake - made to a traditional family recipe, this cake is simple but delicious! This is one of our most popular flavours for children's cakes.
Vanilla – A classic light cake, flavoured with a hint of vanilla.
Chocolate – Another light fluffy cake, great for younger children as it’s not too heavy and gives a great chocolate flavour that children love.
Strawberry – Flavoured with fresh strawberry reduction, this is a true strawberry cake (we do not use artificial flavours of colours in this cake). It is filled with vanilla buttercream for a classic 'strawberries and cream' combination.
NOTE: fresh cream is not available.
Lemon Cake – Based on our vanilla recipe, flavoured with fresh lemon zest, for a beautiful subtle flavour.
Orange & poppy seed cake - a lovely light and fluffy, subtle flavoured cake which is very popular.
NOTE: most of these cakes are too soft to be used for tall and/or tiered cakes and are NOT suited to fondant covered cake designs.

MUD CAKES - all of these cakes are made with premium quality Couverture chocolate.
Belgian Dark Chocolate Mud – A rich, full flavour premium quality true chocolate mud cake. The flavour and moistness of this cake comes from the premium quality chocolate used, not from oil like cheaper "mud" cakes. This is our most popular mud cake flavour.
Premium White Choc Mud – Flavoured with premium quality white chocolate, this cake has a beautiful sweet white chocolate taste.
Caramel Mud Cake – A decadent mud cake made from premium white chocolate and golden syrup for a beautiful caramel flavour.
Lemon Mud Cake – Based on our premium white chocolate recipe, this cake is flavoured with fresh lemon zest. This flavour is VERY popular with our lemon curd filling.
Passionfruit Mud Cake – Based on our premium white chocolate recipe, this cake is flavoured with real passionfruit for a subtle tangy flavour. Add lemon to this cake for an extra zesty pop of flavour!
Raspberry White Chocolate - A white chocolate mud cake, baked with real raspberries for a beautiful subtle flavoured cake. (Please note that this cake must remain refrigerated until serving and is therefore not suitable for fondant covered designs).
NOTE: All of these cakes cost more than the basic flavor range to produce. Costs will be added to the base price based on current market value of the ingredients needed to make your specific cake flavour and size.
Coconut Cake – Packed full of coconut, this is a delicious, tropical tasting cake.
Fruit Cake – A traditional fruit cake packed with currents, sultanas, raisins, apricots, cherries, oranges and lemons. The cake is also ‘fed’ with brandy in the weeks prior to sale. Plenty of notice is needed for this cake.
Orange & Almond cake – A very moist cake, that is great for dessert or a gluten free option. This cake is not suitable for high/tiered cakes and/or fondant covered designs.
Red Velvet Cake – A traditional, true red velvet cake with a dense, rich raspberry flavour.
Please note: Many "red velvet" cakes are often actually only basic cakes coloured with red food colouring & artificial flavour....ours is not like that!

We offer either buttercream or ganache filling for your cake.
Ganache is a mixture of cream and chocolate and is a rich and decadent filling that works well with mud type cakes. It can be flavoured in a number of ways – just ask!
American Buttercream is a mixture of icing sugar and butter. It is a very traditional filling that can be used in a number of cakes and again can be flavoured in a number of ways.
Passionfruit or lemon curd - this may be added to your buttercream filling to provide that extra pop of flavour!
The icing on your cake, depends on the design and flavor/fillings you choose. We offer the following types of icings:
Buttercream (Swiss; American or Italian) – Can be used to pipe a number of designs to add texture and/or depth or to a design. It can be coloured in a whole spectrum of colours.
Ganache – An icing which can be flavoured to compliment your cake and used as a smooth or textured finish on cakes.
Fondant – Great for a smooth even finish and for modelling. Available in most colours. Please note: it is not always possible to get exact matches to material swatches or colour cards.
We offer only semi naked or full coated cakes We do not offer 'naked' cakes (ie cakes without any icing coating).
Semi naked - a cake covered in a thin layer of ganache where some of the cake is deliberately showing through in the design (see above).
Full coating – a cake coated with a thicker layer of ganache (and/or fondant) so that none of the cake is showing through in the design. This can be smooth or textured.
